The single most important relationship you will have
in your lifetime is the one you have with your ‘Self.’
My strength, passion, and the primary focus of my counseling practice is my work with individuals.
I value developing a collaborative relationship with clients based on support and trust so they feel safe to explore what’s on their mind — "that thing” or “those things” that get in their way, hold them back from feeling fully alive in the present, or from being where they want to be in life.
Within the counseling space, clients identify their strengths and work through challenges, break through self-defeating or limiting beliefs, and eliminate self-sabotaging behaviors or habits. Clients also develop more self-awareness and learn more effective ways to think and cope so that they can meet and maintain their most desired goals.
My approach is holistic, incorporating the mind, body, and soul. This is paramount in ensuring that every part of ourselves is acting in unison.
My Philosophy:
I believe that understanding and “growing ourselves from within” is the foundation and key ingredient to having a solid, healthy, and satisfying relationship with ourselves and others. Everything we do to grow as an individual is an automatic relationship builder — whether that be with a spouse or partner, our children, friends, family, or co-workers.

Kind words from a client.
“There are people that touch our lives and forever change them. I’m grateful for having met Debra. When I first sat down with Debra, I had just moved after some traumatic life events. I was overwhelmed by the change and struggling to work through my past while in a deep depression. I did not have the tools to navigate life at that point.
My life has improved so much with Debra’s help. I have learned many skills to manage stress, as well as understand and deal with my past. Her insight, empathy, and dedication to her clients is invaluable. I used to wake up worried every day. I no longer wake up in fear, and my anxiety has decreased significantly. I now enjoy the healthy relationships I am in. Debra has introduced me to EMDR to help with past trauma. I am amazed by the growth I have seen with this therapy.
Debra has taught me how to identify and eliminate unhealthy behaviors and toxicity from my life as well as practicing positive self-talk and self-care.
Reaching out to Debra was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I wish I had met her earlier in life. I truly feel the successes I’ve had in my personal and business life have come from her help, support, and coaching me to become my best self. I cannot thank her enough!”
